My organization is interested in sharing resources! Share On Social Media with #IOER
IOER welcomes organizations including school districts, workforce partners, after school programs, museums, libraries, any organization with an interest in sharing, curating, and creating OER. Organizations can identify an administrator and other roles to add organizations member accounts, open Libraries, create Learning Lists, and share, curate and create OER. Users can follow libraries and learning lists and search for resources curated and created by organizations. Identified organization staff can add and remove organization members any time.
#IOER is pre-loaded with many Illinois school districts but the system is not limited to school districts. To request an organization group for using IOER tools either: Enter your request using the
online contact form or email:
firstname.lastname@example.org (normal business hours, excluding holidays are 8:00 am – 4:30 PM CST, Monday- Friday).
Within a business day, the IOER team can: Create the organization account Setup an organization Library Create accounts for your members‐‐or they can set those up on their own! Schedule a live webinar to provide an introduction and training Once the organization is setup, user accounts associated with it can use the powerful tools listed above on behalf of that organization to quickly develop its presence in the IOER system. You also gain access to user and content administration tools, and usage tracking tools.
