The training modules provide educators with the foundational Open Education Resources knowledge and the basic skills for using the Illinois Open Educational Resource searchable database (IOER). The four modules represent a basic level of proficiency needed to take advantage of wide variety of high quality open educational resources available as well as the robust set of tools within IOER. This course includes an advanced module focused on the skills needed to curate resources using the Illinois Open Educational Resource searchable database (IOER). This module is an advanced module designed to follow the three basic IOER modules.
The modules are 1-2 hour workshops and can be delivered as-is or mixed and matched to best fit your learning needs. Each module has a downloadable presentation and a step-by-step facilitator guide.
