Sizing Up the Universe Interactive

Description

An interactive that allows students to choose different sized objects to represent earth and the solar system and then compares the relative size of other objects in and out of the solar system. Both size and distance are shown to scale. The objects are shown on a map with a user-selected address for Earth. Try using your school as the starting address, then see how far you would need to travel to get to the moon or sun!
