A Rendezvous with Idaho History

Description

Around 1860, someone thought up the name Idaho. He said it meant 'gem of the mountains'. This person wanted a new territory to be named Idaho. The new territory was named Colorado instead. Later, the name, Idaho, was chosen for a Columbia River steamboat.
