Authored by Frank G. Yanowitz, M.D, the Alan E. Lindsay ECG Learning Center is a helpful tool for students working toward careers in cardiovascular diagnostics and technology. It serves as an "introduction to clinical electrocardiography" which attempts to standardize diagnostic terminology and criteria as well as help students develop skills in interpreting ECG data. The "Image Index" contains illustrations of the heart in various forms of distress, as well as results from performed ECGs. The "Test Your Knowledge" section presents quizzes which, among other things, ask students to examine ECG results and answer multiple-choice questions about the patient's condition. This site would be useful for students to enrich their experience with real ECG results, and for teachers to use in the classroom as examples.
