PARCC evidence statement tables and evidence statements describe the knowledge and skills that an assessment item or a task elicits from students. These are aligned directly to the Common Core State Standards, and highlight their advances especially around the coherent nature of the standards. ISBE curriculum units were created so districts may choose to adopt or adapt the models in lieu of developing their own mathematics curriculum. Twenty-four (24) middle and 28 high school unit outlines were developed in accordance with the information from the November 2012 PARCC Model Content Frameworks. Each middle school grade level and high school course contains a sequence of units designed to address all standards for that level in a cohesive manner.
