Description

Each day of the school year teacher Andrew Stadel posts a new photo on this website and invites students to estimate some quantity related to the photo in order to develop number sense and problem solving skills. Visitors are asked to describe their confidence levels and explain how they use context clues to arrive at their estimates. Answers and submissions for previous days are available. Mr. Stadel posts his reflections on the project in his blog, linked from this page.
