A Laboratory Introduction to DNA Restriction Analysis

DNA from lambda virus is digested with various restriction enzymes, and the resulting fragments separated using agarose gel electrophoresis. The separation patterns are visualized, photographed and used to illustrate the relationship between DNA fragment size and electrophoretic mobility.
