Description

This website contains a detailed development and comparison of a classical and a quantum mechanical description of motion in a central potential, such as planetary motion or the electron orbitals of a hydrogen atom. This example is a part of a larger collection of examples in which the classical and quantum mechanical descriptions are compared.
